Kijktuinen Nunspeet, the flowering heart of the Veluwe

From the starting point you will travel via a beautiful route to the town Nunspeet, situated in the North West of the Veluwe. Here the program starts with coffee and a local delicacy at the Kijktuinen in Nunspeet. After an introduction about the landscape and the design of the Kijktuinen, you will take a guided tour through the garden, during which you will be introduced into the secrets of gardening: enjoying the lucious beauty of the flowers. The pace will be adapted to the elderly in the group. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to check out the gardens on your own until the buss departs.

This trip takes around à 2,5 hours, plus the free time.

Day arrangement Garden, forest and surroundings of Nunspeet, with a visit to the "Shelter village" of WWII

A visit to the Kijktuinen Nunspeet, reception with coffee and a local delicacy. Afterwards a guided tour (by the garden architect) through the gardens. After this tour of approx. 2 hours you will be picked up by the 'Jan Plezier' (horse and wagon) and be brought to farm 't Hoge, where you will enjoy an authentic coffee tish of the Veluwe that comes with everything that belongs to it. Next the journey will be continued with a tour through the forest of Nunspeet. An experienced guide who is able to explain everything about the management of the wild life, will take you to a fold and to the 'Verscholen dorp': the shelter village of the WWII. This hiding place from '40-'45 in the woods of Vierhouten, was one of the larger shelter camps. The BBC has made a documentary about this shelter.

Converting of a coffee table into a 3 courses dinner gives a price increase of € 200,00 till and with 20 persons and from 21 persons € 10.00 p.p

Day arrangement - Looking at the "old land" and fern along the "new land"

A visit to the beautifully created Kijkentuinen Nunspeet. The day begins with coffee or tea and pastry. Afterwards your can enjoy the flower splendour, the plants, statues, and cozy spots where you sit down and rest. In short: an oasis of tranquility. Next is the boat trip with a well-sorted coffee table and afterwards a stroll through the old city of Elburg.
